Dobrinishte
Dobrinishte is famous for its alpine nature and mineral waters. This unique combination makes this village an exclusively perspective mountain resort. Dobrinishte is situated at the foot of Pirin Mountain in the south-eastern part of the Razlog valley on 810 meters above sea level. The village has a wonderful view towards the most beautiful part of Pirin Mountain.
Dobrinishte is 165 kilometers away from Sofia and 6 kilometers south from Bansko.
The name of the village comes from The Good Things that God has given to the local people: the warm mineral springs, the forests and waters of Pirin.
The history of Dobrinishte dates back to the Stone Age. A lot of Thracian and Roman pottery was found in the area, as well as coins from Nero the Emperor (1st century BC). The swimming pool with mineral water known as The Roma Bath is situated on Dobrinishka River, where all the other mineral springs are situated.
