How to get to Panichishte

Panichishte can easily be reached by car if one takes the international highway E – 79 in southern direction from Sofia. In about 45 minutes take the Doupnitza exit and follow the signs to Sapareva Banya. There is a regular daily bus from Ovcha Kupel bus station in Sofia to Sapareva Banya. It departs at 2 p.m.

There are also buses at Ovcha Kupel to the town of Dupnitsa where you can take any of the Saparevo buses that run every half hour. All buses will drop you off in front of the Tourist Information Center in Sapreva Banya. Once in Sapareva Banya you can be transported to Panichishte resort fast and easily. There are regular bus and minivan lines to the resort.
