Summer activities

Semkovo is a starting point for many tourist tracks to interesting sites in the mountains. Tourists may enjoy tracking to the nearby lakes of Vapski Lakes, Suhoto ezero, Skalishki Lakes; walking to the chalets of Dobarsko, Macedonia, Ribni ezera, Granchar, Treshtenik. All tracks are signified and kept in good condition.

Apart from tracking the resort of Semkovo provides opportunity of wild animal watching, organized by the Tourist Information Center in the town of Belitsa. Other group activities organized by this Center are bird-watching, butterflies and insects watching, gathering of herbs and mushrooms, fishing and photo-safaris. There are specially constructed observation decks nearby hayloft feeding racks for zealous tourists. The habitats of individual biological species and the fishing areas have been designated.
